Our Story
Kenergia was founded in 2006 and has been working on PV in Italy with a technical and industrial approach ever since. We represent a group of active development entities with specialized skills to bring utility scale, agrivoltaic and CER projects to maturity.
Kenergia has built its reputation over more than two decades, following the evolution of photovoltaics in Italy from its earliest stages. The company was founded as a consulting and design firm for the first large systems.
With the launch of the utility scale market, Kenergia extends its role to project development and Operation & Management, contributing to the deployment of the first large-scale remote monitoring systems
Today, Kenergia is an operating holding company that coordinates subsidiaries and investees dedicated to utility scale photovoltaics, agrivoltaics, storage, grid services, and the development of Energy Communities
Structure and competencies
Kenergia’s organizational structure is designed to manage complex projects with central coordination and dedicated specialized expertise. The company is headed by the CEO with an Operations Department and a Project Management Office following individual projects.
A network of companies and professionals specializing in storage, energy diagnostics, advanced monitoring and agri-voltaics operates around this internal core. This model allows Kenergia to be a one-stop shop for investors, utilities, agricultural enterprises and local governments, while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing regulatory and market environment.
